GGSIPU Infrastructure

GGSIPU offers a state-of-the-art infrastructure with Wi-Fi enabled digital campus, a fully-furnished placement cell, central AC buildings, a moot court, three well-equipped computer labs, a well-equipped audio-video lab, a separate computer laboratory for law, spacious classrooms with an ICT facility, production lab, smart classrooms, well-equipped library, multi-purpose hall, recreational rooms for boys & girls with indoor sports facilities and two cafeterias. Other than these, the university also offers an industry-academia interface, recreational activities, outreach programmes, Skill Enhancement & Entrepreneurship, etc.

Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, formerly Indraprastha University (IP or IPU), is a state university located in Dwarka, Delhi, India. The university is organised around fourteen university schools and three university centres that focus on programs in law, medicine, technology, education, entrepreneurship, science and business. GGSIPU Hostel & Residential Facilities

GGSIPU has 4 hostels in total, out of which 2 are for female students and male students. The hostels for boys are known as Shivalik and Aravalli, and hostels for girls are known as Nilgiri and Satpura. The university hostel provides a comfortable and supportive living environment for students, offering a sense of community and convenience right on campus. The hostels have well-furnished rooms, common areas for relaxation and socializing, and essential facilities like laundry services and Wi-Fi

The hostel life at GGSIPU is comfortable and provides a homely vibe. There is 24*7 surveillance ensuring the safety of the students. Moreover, the cafeteria provides nutritious and delicious meals which is an essential need of the hosteller. Also, the hostels have effective wifi systems and entertainment rooms. 

GGSIPU Academic and Research Facilities

GGSIPU aims to strengthen and promote the university, identify the thrust area for research in various USS/Centres, research guidance and monitoring through different activities including interaction with various stakeholders of the University, creating enabling provisions in research policies for recruitment of research personnel, procurement of equipment, and financial management with adequate autonomy to the Principal Investigator and disseminate research outcomes to stakeholders and the public at large, as well as monitoring and overseeing research progress to ensure timely completion of the projects as per schedule.

GGSIPU Library

The library at IP University is centrally air-conditioned and fully automated. The library is well stocked with 67,000 books, 12,000 e-books, 15,000 journals, and subscriptions to 14 online databases. Remote access is available to the students and faculty for the resources along with the WebOPAC facility. Business Source Complete (BSC), provides a collection of bibliographic and full-text content and offers indexing and abstracting of searchable cited references. 

GGSIPU Sports Facilities

GGSIPU's sports facility is a vibrant hub for physical activity, promoting health, wellness, and teamwork among students and staff. The university The university has a dedicated court and field for volleyball, Football, Cricket, Badminton, Basketball, Tennis, Kabbadi and Track & Field and ground for cultural activities, and Canopy for cultural activities by clubs under Srijan.
