Introduction

B.K. Birla College of Arts, Science & Commerce (Kalyan) is a premier multi-faculty empowered autonomous institution affiliated with the University of Mumbai, enrolling over 9,000 UG/PG students and 4,400 in junior college. History & Establishment

Established in 1972 by Kalyan Citizens' Education Society under the blessings of Shri B.K. Birla and Smt. Sarala Birla, the college began as a response to local educational needs. Granted autonomous status in 2018-19 (empowered 2023-33), UGC College of Excellence (2015-20), and ISO 9001:2015 certification, it celebrated its Golden Jubilee with a commemorative postal stamp in 2021.​

Academics & Programs

Offers UG (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com aided/self-financed), PG (M.Sc., M.Com), PhD, and junior college programs across arts, science, commerce.
