JEE Advanced 2026 Seat Reservation Policy – OBC, SC, ST, PwD Details

IIT admissions through JEE Advanced 2026 follow the Government of India reservation policy. OBC-NCL: 27% of seats reserved. SC: 15% of seats reserved. ST: 7.5% of seats reserved. EWS: 10% of seats reserved. PwD: 5% horizontal reservation across all categories. Female-only seats (supernumerary): introduced to improve female enrollment to at least 20%. Candidates must hold valid and current reservation certificates. OBC-NCL certificates must be from the financial year 2025-26. All reservations are subject to the candidate meeting the minimum qualifying marks in their respective category.
