JEE Advanced 2026 Exam Pattern – Papers, Marks, and Duration

JEE Advanced 2026 consists of two compulsory papers – Paper 1 and Paper 2 – held on the same day. Each paper is 3 hours long and contains questions from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Question types include MCQ (single correct), MCQ (multiple correct), numerical answer type, and matching-based questions. Negative marking applies to some question types. Both papers must be attempted as the final rank is based on aggregate marks. The exam is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
